Live Wire
Adult volunteers help with program, food and excursions for this Middle School evening youth group lead by the Youth Minister. Live Wire meets weekly on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-8:30 pm in the church youth room.

  • Purpose: Live Wire provides a safe place for fellowship in a church context.
  • Time Required: Flexible

The ROCK
Volunteers support weekly meetings, fundraisers, outings and mission trips. The ROCK high school youth group meets Sunday evenings from 7-8:30 pm in the church youth room throughout the school year. The biggest and most significant event of the year for many high school students is their mission trip to Mexico during Spring break.

  • Purpose: Offers high school students a unique setting for building both friendships and faith.
  • Time Required: Weekly meetings 1-2 hours plus many flexible opportunities to serve.

Annual Treasure Sale (Garage Sale)
Opportunities include: sorting, organizing, cleaning, repairing and picking up donations, cashiering and assisting at sale, clean-up and pack-up after the sale.

  • Purpose: Provide funds for the high school Mexico Mission Trip and ongoing youth activities.
  • Time Required: Sale is usually in March and requires time Sunday–Sunday, 9 am-7 pm the week before and the week of the sale.

Tuesday/Wednesday Pizza Lunch
Serve pizza, collect money, police clean-up, welcome students to PCC Youth Room on Tuesday or Wednesday during lunch

  • Purpose: Assist the youth director in Outreach.
  • Time Required: 1 hour/week on Tuesday/Wednesday (times vary)

Confirmation Mentors
Adult mentors are paired with middle school confirmands to provide guidance and friendship during confirmation class. Pairs meet periodically during the seven week class.

  • Purpose: Spiritual guidance and a connection to the larger church family in order to maintain commitment and participation in church life.
  • Time Required: 6 to 10 hours

Mexico Mission Trip
Opportunities to serve include: advisory committee, inventory tools and camping equipment, purchase equipment, plan menus and purchase food, pack food for transport, administrative assistance, team leader, cook, nurse or doctor, truck driver, pre-trip food preparation.

  • Time Required: 1 hr. to several weeks, depends on assignment

Malawi Mission Trip
Adult chaperones travel with youth to Malawi, Africa. Additional opportunities include fund raising and preparation for travel.

  • Purpose: Support the youth mission trip.
  • Time Required: 1 hour to several weeks
