The Refugee Task Force (RTF) remains an active, albeit modest, ministry within our church. To date, we have walked alongside six families, providing the ongoing support needed to settle and navigate the complexities of modern American life.

After the initial intensive resettlement phase, our current focus is practical assistance with transportation, tools, and furniture, as well as ESL training and cultural guidance.  It is rewarding in its own way.

While the U.S. State Department has temporarily redirected resources, slowing the arrival of new refugee families to zero, we remain prepared. We look forward to the day we can welcome a new family and help them take their first step on the ladder to the American dream.
