JULIE NEVIS – I’m Julie Nevis and I teach high schoolers all about Biology and Anatomy/Physiology. After hearing Scott Kail’s fireside chats on a Mexico trip, I decided to attend a Sunday service at Piedmont Church. I found the experience uplifting and welcoming. I look forward to becoming a more active member and deepening my ties to this wonderful community.
AMBER CURRAN – My name is Amber Curran and though I was born and raised in the Bay Area, I recently moved back here from Las Vegas after about eight years. I have two sons. I’m a 2nd grade teacher in East Oakland. I started attending Piedmont Church mostly as a companion to my grandfather David Reed, but I learned to love the church because of the life groups and the thriving community church has.
VICKI KORKUT – My name is Vicki Korkut and I am seeking to grow closer to God and strengthen my faith. I come to Piedmont Church because I value its sense of community, support and shared commitment to living faith-filled life. I hope to deepen my understanding of God’s word word, find encouragement in fellowship and continue growing spiritually. As a member, I look forward to participating in worship, building meaningful connections and contributing to the church community. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this church and continuity journey of faith.
MATT STEPHENS – I work in B2B sales in clean technology. You may see my wife, Jordan and baby boy, Clayton as well on Sunday mornings. I am excited to be a part of Piedmont Church and to grow deeper in my faith and community. We chose Piedmont because it felt welcoming and focused on the joy and grace of knowing Jesus.
