PALM SUNDAY – In addition to celebrating Palm Sunday on April 13, we will honor our students who have recently finished confirmation. Those who have not yet been baptized will be baptized during worship. Younger kids will wave palm branches and middle and high school students can assist with welcome duties. Afterward, the celebration continues in the Courtyard.

MAUNDY THURSDAY – Worship takes place on Thursday, April 17 at 6:15pm during a family-friendly dinner called an Agape Meal (pronounced Uh-GAH-Pay) from one of the Greek words for love – agape. The meal commemorates Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples, when he called on them to “love one another” and instituted the sacrament of Communion. The meal will conclude with Communion. Cost for dinner is $20 for adults & $10 for kids ($25 & $15, respectively, at the door). Sign up in the Courtyard after worship through Palm Sunday, April 13.

GOOD FRIDAY – Worship on Good Friday includes special music and a traditional service of Tenebrae, the Latin word for ‘darkness’. As the story of Jesus’ way to death on a cross is read out loud, candles and lights are gradually extinguished, until the entire Sanctuary is in darkness, except for one candle. It is a dramatic and appropriate way to prepare for Easter. The service starts at 7:30 pm.

EASTER SUNDAY
Our Easter services are 8:30 and 10am. Both services include Liturgy, sermon by Steve Schibsted and music provided by Stephen Main and our Chancel Choir. Nursery provided during both services. There is no Sunday school Easter Sunday.
