2016 Alternative Gift Market
Sunday, December 4th, 11th and 18th
For the past 14 years, PCC’s Alternative Gift Market has been making a difference, raising over $750,000 for local and global charities. “AGM gives us the opportunity to care for more than just our family and friends at Christmas. We can bring life-giving aid to people who are in desperate need,” says Rev. Bill McNabb.
AGM lets you honor a family member, friend or colleague by purchasing a gift that truly keeps on giving, helping to lift the lives of people in the East Bay and around the world. For the price of an iPhone, a well can be constructed that brings clean drinking water to a village of 300 in Malawi. The cost of a ticket to a Warrior’s game can provide medical care for the poor in Haiti, or help sponsor a refugee family in Oakland. What it takes to buy a couple of cups of coffee at Peets can provide a healthy meal for a homeless family in Oakland.
AGM takes place at PCC on Sunday, December 4th, 11th and 18th after the 9 and 10:30 am worship services in Guild Hall. Catalogs and order forms are available at church. Or, order online here.
