Piedmont Community Church is one of the most beautiful settings for a wedding ceremony in the Bay Area. The historic architecture, its location in the heart of Piedmont, the enchanting courtyard, colorful landscaping, artful sanctuary, and inviting approach to worship are just a few of the many features that couples find attractive. The handicapped-accessible sanctuary seats up to 300 people, and the smaller chapel in the Christian Education complex seats about 100. Facilities are available for private viewing by appointment only, Monday - Friday, 9-4 (summer hours: 9-3). Please contact the office manager, Jean Leahy, at 510-547-5700, or e-mail jean@piedmontchurch.org to schedule an appointment or inquire about a date. After the couple has met with a church minister, a deposit is required to reserve the church for the requested date. It is suggested that arrangements begin at least 6 months in advance. Fees for weddings are as follows: | ![]() |

No flash photography is allowed during the ceremony. Time exposures or high-speed film may be used from the back of the church, and if the sanctuary is not full, photographers may move up to five pews behind the last row of seated guests. Appropriate attire is expected of all service providers. No throwing of rice, birdseed, confetti, flower petals, or any other matter is allowed. | ||||||
